The Beaufort Castle was built in a beautiful geometrical form, controversial to the abundance of tunnels and its hideouts. It is one of the largest castles in Lebanon after Baalbek Castle. The castle consists of several floors. At its entrance we find the remains of a large basin where water was gathered. Near it there are traces of a village that belonged to the castle. We also find another basin of water inside the castle. It also has a moving bridge to the south. And near the north-west corner of the castle there are huge buildings, and in the west we find rocked water basins, and in the center of the castle we find the Latin Church with the crucified ceiling, and the Gothic door leading to the West Citadel, and on this side sections of the oldest sections built by the Crusaders, middle Ages.
